Il premio Nebula di quest'anno è stato assegnato nel fine settimana del 12- 15 maggio alla 2016 SFWA Nebula Conference.
Il premio viene assegnato da una giuria di scrittori ad altri colleghi 
Quest'anno il premio per il miglior romanzo è stato assegnato ad Uprooted di Naomi Novik, qui la nostra scheda.
Il volume non è ancora arrivato in Italia.
CITAZIONE Uprooted è una storia autoconclusiva che ha le sue radici nel folklore e nelle fiabe dei fratelli Grimm, interpretati in modo molto originale. Il drago locale, per esempio, non mangia le fanciulle, e anzi quello di “drago” è semplicemente il titolo con cui è noto un mago interessato alle fanciulle non per mangiarle ma per tenerle al proprio servizio per dieci anni. Da questo romanzo è in corso di realizzazione un film
Il fatto che ci sia in lavorazione un film fa sperare che magari qualcuno lo potrebbe portare in Italia 
Per il romanzo breve il premio è stato assegnato a Nnedi Okorafor con Binti
Il premio Andrè norton per gli Young Adult è stato vinto dal romanzo di Fran Wilde - Updraft (Bone Universe #1)
