Biografia Rachel Caine:

Rachel Caine è lo pseudonimo più noto della scrittrice Roxanne Longstreet Conrad. Nata il 27 aprile 1962, Roxanne è cresciuta nel Texas occidentale, dove si è diplomata alla Socorro High School di El Paso nel 1980. Nel 1985 consegue una laurea in amministrazione finanziaria presso la Texas Tech University e svolge diversi lavori in quell'ambito, tra cui responsabile d'ufficio, direttrice paghe, investigatrice assicurativa, web designer, graphic designer e responsabile delle comunicazioni per una multinazionale).
Oltre a pubblicare romanzi e racconti dal 1990 - attività cui si dedica a tempo pieno dal 2009 -, è anche una ex musicista professionista e ha suonato con leggende musicali come Henry Mancini, Peter Nero, e John Williams.
Attualmente vive a Fort Worth, in Texas, con il marito, l'artista R. Cat Conrad.

Valutazione soggettiva di Rachel Caine:
Ho letto Il diario di Eve Rosser poco dopo la sua uscita: ho trovato la storia buona, con degli elementi originali, ma non mi ha lasciato la curiosità di leggere il seguito, il che non è il massimo visto che il primo libro lascia parecchio in sospeso.
