Biografia Melissa de la Cruz:

Melissa de la Cruz è nata nel 1971 a Manila, nelle Filippine, dove è vissuta fino ai dodici anni, quando la sua famiglia si trasferisce negli Stati Uniti e si stabilisce a San Francisco, dove Melissa si diploma alla Convent of the Sacred Heart High School. In seguito si iscrive alla Columbia University di New York, dove studia Inglese e Storia dell'Arte.
Ha lavorato come scrittrice per alcune importanti riviste, tra cui Marie Claire e Teen Vogue, e come esperta di moda per le reti televisive E! Entertaiment e CNN.
Attualmente vive a Los Angeles con il marito.

Valutazione soggettiva di Melissa de la Cruz:
Di quest'autrice ho leggiucchiato solo Sangue Blu e non mi aveva granché colpito, ma ho sentito parlare molto bene della serie Le streghe di East End, così ho messo i libri in lista. Appena li leggo aggiornerò anche qui.
